Buy.com offers music purchases at various prices, depending on the song/CD. The top 100 singles are 79 cents each with regular singles at 99 cents. The album prices do vary a great deal, and are similar to what you can find at CD stores ($9 to $20 each).

This is a good site for the singles, but only the cheaper albums ($9) are worth buying here as opposed to iTunes or Napster. Check out the Buy.com website.
